Shop is up 🖤 on my l!nktree - My first mirror drop! I am so excited to release these- learning this new medium was so exciting. Difficult at first, but as soon as I realized how similar it is to tattooing it was a breeze.

These guys can be used for an array of things! Wall decor, perfume/jewelry tray, scrying mirror, altar piece etc etc.

Very excited to offer these as my first drop! Thinking about the next one already. Maybe a theme? I’m thinking astrology ✨ what would you like to see? Let me know in the comments 🫶

Tattooing fake skin is pretty fun! It takes a lot

Tattooing fake skin is pretty fun! It takes a lot more patience than tattooing actual skin- but it was nice to take my time and add layers without a time limit/worrying about tearing up the skin. This time my intention was practicing mixing colors on the fly (in the tube) and challenging my color theory skills. Color theory is one of my favorite elements of art & tattooing, I find it to be a puzzle trying to match the color I want to achieve by dipping into 3+ colors! .

Time to close this chapter 🫶

What does this mean?
Mostly just changing my handle back to my name (Chloe Marie)! An ex coined the name ‘cutie marie’ for me, and although it will always be a part of my journey- I just don’t identify with that name anymore. I am still tattooing! However I’ve felt the pull to push my style in a new direction. You’ve probably seen this happening slowly over the last few months! I’ve put some tattoos I’ve done over this year in the slides that reflect where my focus is shifting to ➡️

What’s next?
Moving forward I will be focusing more on my new style and developing my tattooing skills in a different way. If you’ve been seeing my recent flash, that is more the direction I’m leaning towards. I will absolutely be finishing any on going large scale projects! Anime, kawaii, glittery, cutesy tattoos will always have a special place in my heart. It’s time for me to move on and try something new! I will be passing along most requests for this kind of style for now, BUT my (graduated) apprentice @chronic_the_hedgeh0g is an amazing tattooer, and I will be referring those types of requests to them, or others that I’ve worked with in the past that I trust.

I am so grateful for everyone that has come to me for kawaii/anime tattoos, and I’m so grateful for all the clients who have been coming to me for years, stuck with me to see the growth- special thank you to yall 🫶 Now that the anime/kawaii tattoo community is so big, I feel at peace leaving it behind for now.
